I tried and tried and tried hard, so hard, very hard, so damn hard, to wait for my PR. Yet it is still letting me wait and hold back and delay everything that I could do and could have possibly done. I just need one thing to be approved for me to be able to proceed on to the next thing that is awaiting me, so that I could at least achieve something that I have been wanting so badly or something that I needed so desperately. Something urgent.
So why testing my patience? You aint have no rights.
Be STRONG enough to face the world each day Be weak enough to know that I cannot do everything ALONE Be generous to those WHO need my help Be frugal with WHAT I need myself Be wise enough to know that I DO NOT know everything Be foolish enough to believe in MIRACLES Be willing to share my JOY Be willing to share the SORROWS of others Be loving to those who LOVE me Be loving to those who do not love me, and they MAY change Above all, be MYSELF .....ie.....?
To subject to or undergo extreme stress, as from working too much When I was in my first three years of uni, I was subjected to stress everyday from the work load given by faculty as well as by trying to pass all the examinations with flying colours. When I was in honours, I was stressed out everyday from trying to get some genuine results, to bit the datelines and to write up a good thesis. Now that I am no longer in uni, no longer having to do experiments nor having to get any exciting results to write up an interesting thesis, I am still stressing out due to the LONG and BUZY working hours.......
What's the difference between studying and working ??
1. Does every human face an equal number of obstacles in life? 2. Would some people face more impediments (in total) than others? 3. Is it an obligation for everyone to make decisions in life...ie forever? 4. Why is there existence of biasness? unfairness? distinctions? 5. Why does a human being have feelings/emotions? 6. And why are some humans more emotional than others? 7.What are the fundamental goals in one's life? 8. What would happen if one does not reach his/her goal? 9. Would anyone ask such sillybilly questions? 10. Can somebody please tell me why?
As usual, first thing in the morning was breakfast.....however, this morning had a bit of a shock and bad start for the day. 1. The entire window pane in the toilet was being removed by Er yi.........(because she wanted to air the toilet.....but then the toilet air-flow has always been present) 2. Couldn't wee wee before I had my breaky, due to the *in renovation* toilet. 3. The porridge was so tasteless that I had to force myself to finish them....and straight away had my strawberry yoghurt to compensate my sweet teeth. 4. Uncle Neville drank my apple pine juice, though he already had another glass of cranberry juice in front of him. 5. Realised a burnt mark on the stove, when Er yi was doing some cookings.
Anyways, got along with it eventually as Kitkat saved my day.........
Breakfast for the day: Cranberry juice Tasteless porridge with milk Strawberry flavoured yoghurt
I took my shower as usual, while Er yi was busy in the kitchen and uncle Neville was listening to Elton John's music. Er yi went in for shower after me and uncle Neville was the last. Er yi was thus a "bit" annoyed when she realised that uncle had been playing with the Dvd player and hasn't taken his shower.......
So then, everything was late by an hour. We were all ready to leave for the city at 1.00pm, in the car, in the middle of the road, but uncle Neville suddenly realised that he couldn't find his crown membership card (for free parking). Searched hi-lo in the car, in his shirt, in his pants - none found. The car was still in the middle of the road, I realised when a car had to overtake us in order to move forward....Me and Er yi then ran into the house, searched up-down for his crown card in their bedroom, in his shirt and pants. Uncle Neville then shouted from outside "Found it!!" *Head Bangin on the wall*
Another half an hour past. We then made our way to the crown casino, which took another forty five minutes. Had our lunch in the casino and then took a tram to the city. Lunch for the day: Cappuccino Focaccia with smoked salmon and salad and caper At the end of our meal, we all decided that Baci's Cafe was the best so far...Good coffee and toast.
Stopped at Russel street, and we made our way to the Old Melbourne Gaol by asking people for direction along the way. Was an interesting visit and learnt about the famous Ned Kelly hero who was being executed in the Old Melbourne Gaol. Quotation for the day: "Such A Life"
For dinner, strolled to Melbourne Central, heading Chillipadi. Had chicken satays, penang Harmee, Nyonya spicy fish and seasonal garlic shoots with rice for dinner. Er yi and uncle Nevilled enjoyed the meal very much and due to that, I was really glad and happy. It was my pleasure for giving them a good meal after all....
AFter dinner, caught the tram and back again to the crown casino. Er yi, was then with the pokies machine, while me and uncle Neville both headed to the same cafe to have our desert. Had a good chat with uncle Neville and learn a little tiny bit of his history. Supper for the day: Cappuccino A super ultra large piece of Passion fruit cheesecake
Ohno...couldn't eat nothing more. Er yi called the mobile, and went back to meet her. She had a voucher to exchange for a big meal.....me and uncle Neville looked at each other and decided that, we would be fine with a glass of water. Er yi ordered a cappuccino with her free ticket and passed for the big meal. Was already 10.30pm, chatted for a while and left for home sweet home.......
Wednesday, 6 April 2005 Had a very bizarre nightmare...yet it was real. In the mid of my sweet dream, was suddenly awaken by my bedroom light, which was *insupposably* switched on. A few minutes later, I realised that it was still in the wee hour in the morning, so then I gave a loud squek. Er yi came running into my room appologizingly and thus switched off my bedroom light. I went back to my sweet dream.
Verdict of the day... Er yi just finished going to the toilet in the middle of the night. Accidentally she switched off the toilet light, got panicked in the pitched dark, and turned left (instead of turning right). She then came into my room (instead of hers) and switched on my bedroom light. Walked off as soon as she was able to make a visible way back to her room without realising that she has switched on my bedroom light and woke me up from my sweet dream......sighZZZzz~
Well, soon after that I managed to get back to some other sweet dream and was woken up by her again at 10.00am. Cleaned myself in the bathroom and then joined uncle Neville for breakfast. Breakfast for the day: Orange juice All bran with banana Hard boiled egg
We left house at 11.40pm, and drove straight to Ballarat. Had snake lollies and apricots on the way. Took us 2 hours to reach the Gold Mine city. Headed for lunch immediately so that we were in time for the gold mine tour. Lunch for the day: Cappuccino Sandwich with chicken, cheese and salad. Peach
Sovereign Hill it was, the gold mine town. It costed $30.00 per adult for entrance. Anyway, i had an enjoyable day in the town, learning the history of the gold miners' life in Ballarat during the 1850s. I have learnt that people from all over the world (not only the Australians including the interstates) came to Ballarat to look for gold in 1850s! What a massive knowledge for the day.... Lesson for the day: Gold miners had a very hard life.
Desert for the day: Vanilla slice and Chocolate walnut slice
Also went to the EurekaBallarat, a battle field where the rebellious gold miners and residents (at that time) fighted the government. As a result, 20-30 ppl died.
At approximately 6.30pm, had yummy chinese food for dinner in Ballarat before driving all the way back to home sweet home in clayton. Went to the nearby Coles to top up our groceries at home particularly the milk and cereals and nuts.
Supper for the day: Dairymilk Chocolate Breakaway (new*) Tropical fruit flavoured yoghurt
Was woken up by Er yi at 10.00am, and uncle Neville was already on the dining table having breakfast! Had a quick brush of my teeth, and joined him for breakfast.... Breakfast for the day: Orange Juice Porridge with bran, grapes and strawberries An apple
Had a refreshing shower, and got myself ready for the coming long journey to Phillip Island. After that, managed to have a quick warm up with uncle Neville, while waiting for Er yi to prepare herself. Finally leave house at 12.30pm, drove along the Princess Highway down to South Gippsland Highway and reached Phillip Island at 1.30pm. Went straight to Cowes, the capital of Phillip Island and we had lunch then. Lunch for the day: Fish and Chips Iced Coffee
Strolled around the town, and uncle Neville bought a new navy blue pyjammys. Then we headed to Ventmon and then to Summerland, the Penguin Parade. Entrance fee was $16 per adult. Shopped around the area, and uncle Neville had an ice cream, while I had a large popcorn. We waited patiently for the little penguin, snacking the popcorns and apricots. Little penguins did come back to their burrows!!!! And they were soooOOO CUTE....hahaha...... Left for home at 8.30pm Dinner for the day: Twisters from KFC
Conclusion: Had a relaxing and naughty day.....^_*
Monday, 4 April 2005 Planned to wake up at 9.00am, but was woken up by Er yi at 10.00am. Had a warm shower and got ready for breakfast, which was prepared by Er yi. Woke uncle Neville up and he then joined me for breakfast. Breakfast for the day: Orange Juice Toast with baked beans and poached eggs Swiss vanilla flavoured yoghurt
Left house at 12.00pm and caught the 12.20pm train to city. Reached Flinder's Street Station at 1.00pm and then crossed the road to Federation Square. It was a very high-tech building, and enjoyed the moving shows and priceless art exhibition. We had subway for lunch at Swanston Street, followed by a meloccino and blueberry cheesecake for desert at Gloria Jeans, Melbourne Central.
Headed to Chillipadi at 5.20pm, and bid goodbye with Er yi and uncle Neville. Had to work tonight, while they headed to Crown for some pokies. They came back to fetch me at 10.30pm, and we then headed home.
* Got a $25 tips from a group of 3 gay customers....how nice......^_^
Supposed to reach tonight, but called me at 1.30pm and told me that they started their journey late today (12.00pm) and that it is impossible to reach my place by tonight, since driving from Sydney to Melbourne is at least 12 hours.
Sunday, 1 April 2005 Called me at 9.00am sharp and asked me to wait for them in Chillipadi when I finish work today at 3.00pm. Must switch on my mobile so that they could keep me updated on what's going on along their "relaxing" journey.
Called me at 3.00pm and told me that they will be an hour late, because they happened to stop in Melbourne Gaol, where Ned Kelly the Australian Ironoutlaw was hanged.
Called me at 4.00pm and told me that they couldn't find the restaurant, so I went out to the road junction. Finally saw them.
Drove home from city, unload "stuffs" from the car. Er yi started to distribute presents when I reminded her that we havent bought things for dinner...So then we drove to Coles for groceries shopping and came home to cook dinner. Had marinara for dinner...Yum......
Watched the Final Fantasy with uncle Neville while having desert and listening to Er yi's bedtime stories.......
10.00pm bid goodnight and came into my room to online.....must sleep early though......SighZzzz....
